Choosing Faith Over Fear ✨️
Fear and faith have something in common. Both ask you to believe in what you cannot see. Fear imagines loss, danger, and failure before they ever arrive. Faith imagines God already present, already working, already faithful.
Every day, you get to decide which voice you will agree with. Fear speaks loudly, urgently, and emotionally. Faith speaks quietly, steadily, and with truth. Fear demands control. Faith invites trust.
Choosing faith does not mean pretending everything is fine. It means acknowledging uncertainty while refusing to let it rule your heart. Faith is not denial. It is alignment.
When fear rises, pause and ask yourself..
What am I assuming right now?
What evidence do I have that God will not show up?
What would it look like to respond with trust instead of panic?
Faith grows when we practice it, not when we wait to feel brave.
Therapy Informed Reflection 🧠
Fear often comes from the nervous system trying to protect you. When you feel anxious
• Take a slow breath in through your nose for four seconds.
• Hold for four seconds.
• Exhale slowly through your mouth for six seconds.
This tells your body that you are safe right now!
Then gently challenge the fear..
Is this thought a fact or a fear?
Am I predicting the future without evidence?
What is a more balanced and truthful thought?
Faith and emotional health work together. Calm your body, then renew your mind.
Scripture for Today! 📖
Isaiah 41:10
Do not fear, for I am with you.
Do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Let this verse remind you that you are not facing anything alone.
Prayer 🙏
God,
I confess that fear often feels louder than faith.
I worry about outcomes I cannot control and futures I cannot see.
Today, I choose to trust You instead.
Quiet my anxious thoughts.
Steady my heart.
Help me respond to life with wisdom, not panic.
Remind me that You are already in my tomorrow.
Teach me to walk by faith, even when the path feels unclear.
I place my mind, my body, and my future in Your hands.
Amen.

Amen 🙏 thank you Jess 💞
