Bible Verse! 📖
“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
Daily Devotional! ✝️
When there's NOTHING you can do to fix it, just be still. And let God.
This verse sounds simple, but it is actually really challenging. Being still is hard when life feels loud. Our phones buzz, our minds race, and our responsibilities stack up. Even when nothing is happening around us, our thoughts can feel like they are running a marathon. God knows this about us, which is why He gently calls us to stillness.
Being still does not mean doing nothing, or just ignoring the situation. It means choosing to stop striving in your heart. It means letting go of the pressure to fix everything, explain everything, or control outcomes. God is not asking you to have all the answers today. He is asking you to trust that He is God and you are not!
Sometimes we think peace will come once everything is sorted. God flips that idea around. Peace comes first when we pause and acknowledge Him. When you slow down and remember who God is, your problems start to look different. They may not disappear, but they lose their power to overwhelm you.
Stillness is also about awareness. It is about noticing God in the small moments. A deep breath. A quiet prayer. A gentle nudge in your heart. God often speaks softly, and if we are constantly rushing, we miss it. He is not distant. He is present right now.
Today, give yourself permission to slow down. You do not need to rush through everything. Take a moment to sit with God, even if it is just for a minute. Let Him remind you that He is steady, faithful, and in control. You are safe in His hands.
Prayer 🙏
God, help me be still today. Quiet my thoughts and calm my heart. Remind me that You are bigger than anything I am facing. I choose to trust You with my day, my worries, and my future. I release my fears, problems and pressures to You. And I trust that YOU will fix this for the greater good. Thank You for being a God who brings peace. In Jesus name, Amen.

This helps so much right before bedtime, especially about noticing God the the quiet and stillness. The peace you feel is truly warming & biblical.
In Jesus name, Amen 🙏 🙌 ✨️ ❤️ xxxx
