“Look How Far You’ve Come” ❤️
Bible..
“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3 (NIV)
Sometimes we spend so much time thinking about where we want to be that we forget to pause and honour how far we’ve already come. Take a moment today to breathe and look back.. not with regret, but with gratitude. Every trial you’ve faced, every tear, every small victory has brought you here. God has been quietly working in every season, shaping strength through struggle and faith through uncertainty.
Therapy often teaches the importance of self reflection. Looking back not to dwell, but to understand. In Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), one helpful exercise is to identify moments of growth: times when you responded differently than before, showed patience, or chose peace over panic. These are signs of healing. In faith, we call that sanctification. God refining us through real life, little by little.
Mistakes, too, have been your teachers. They may have left scars, but they also left wisdom. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) reminds us that mistakes don’t define us; our willingness to learn from them does. God never wastes pain. The times you thought you failed were often the soil of transformation. The very places He planted resilience, empathy, and humility.
So today, rather than fixating on what’s next, pause to celebrate what already is. Think about the prayers you’ve prayed that have been answered. Maybe not in the way you expected, but answered nonetheless. Reflect on the storms you’ve survived, the peace you’ve reclaimed, the habits you’ve changed, the boundaries you’ve set. You have grown in grace. You have endured. You have kept walking. That is no small thing.
In a world that constantly pushes us to achieve more, it’s healing to stand still and simply say, “Thank You, Lord, for how far You’ve brought me.” Gratitude nurtures perspective; it rewires the brain toward hope. And pride! Not the boastful kind, but the holy pride of acknowledging your perseverance, is part of honouring the work God has done in you.
As you go through this day, hold your head a little higher. Not because you’ve arrived, but because you’re still on the journey. You are wiser, stronger, and more anchored than before. You are living proof that grace works.
Prayer..
Loving Father, thank You for every step that brought me here. Thank You for the lessons hidden in my mistakes and the strength You built through my struggles. Help me to pause and see the beauty of progress, to celebrate what You’ve already done, and to trust You with what’s still ahead. May gratitude fill my heart today as I remember how far You’ve carried me. Amen.

Amen 🙏🏻
