Sometimes standing in truth feels like standing in the middle of a storm with nothing but your sandals and a hopeful heart. The world might look at you sideways, people might walk away, and everything might push back. But deep down, you know.. truth is worth it. Morals matter. And standing up to what’s wrong, even when it costs you something, is where the real strength lives.
Jesus showed us that in the most epic way. He wasn’t out to win popularity points. He wasn’t afraid to flip some tables (literally) when things weren’t right. He spoke up, loved people fiercely, called out hypocrisy, and lived with integrity, even when the pressure got intense. He could’ve taken the easy route. Smiled, nodded, stayed quiet. But He didn’t. He chose truth, even though it led Him to the cross.
That’s not to say it’s easy for us. Sometimes telling the truth or sticking to our values feels like shouting into the wind. But Jesus showed that it's not about the crowd.. it’s about the calling. It’s about being able to look in the mirror and know you didn’t back down. You stayed rooted. You stayed kind. You stood up for what’s right.
So if you’re feeling the heat for standing your ground, you’re in good company. Truth doesn’t always win the popularity contest, but it does win where it counts.. in the heart, in the soul, and in the legacy you leave behind. And above all, with God's favour.
Keep standing. Keep shining. Flip a few tables if you have to, but always do it with love.
This resonates so much❤️❤️
