Sunday Devotional Message ✝️
Sunday Devotional: Knowing Who You Are in Jesus! ✝️
Let’s be honest, it’s so easy to let other people’s opinions define us.
Family, friends, social media… everyone seems to have something to say about who we should be, what we should do, or how we should live. And before we know it, we start measuring our worth by likes, comments, or comparison.
But here’s the truth: who you are is not up for debate.
When you gave your life to Jesus, your identity got a new foundation. You’re not what others think of you, you’re what God says about you. And He calls you loved, chosen, forgiven, and set apart (Ephesians 1:4–7).
See, people see your past, but God sees your purpose.
People see your flaws, but God sees your future.
People may doubt you, but God already destined you.
When Jesus looks at you, He doesn’t see “not enough.” He sees His child.
He sees someone He died for.
He sees someone with a calling, even if you haven’t figured it out yet.
And about that calling, don’t stress if it’s not clear right now.
Finding your true calling isn’t about chasing a title or a platform; it’s about walking closely with Jesus every day. The more time you spend with Him, the more your purpose starts to make sense.
You won’t need to force it, it’ll flow naturally because you’ll be walking in alignment with who He made you to be.
So today, take a breath.
Let go of what “they” said.
Remind yourself what He said.
You are a child of God.
You are enough.
And you are called.. not by people’s approval, but by Jesus Himself.
Prayer for today:
“Lord, help me to stop letting other voices define me. Remind me that my worth comes from You alone. Show me who I am in You, and guide me into the calling You’ve placed on my life. Amen.”
Remember, those with high calling will often be alone. The world may not be your home, but you were sent here to change it.
YOU ARE ENOUGH! ❤️

Thanks so much, Jess. I always preferred alone cos it felt comfortable and that hasn't changed any since coming back to God 18 months ago or whatever it was.
People *will* mess you about or let you down, hurt your feelings, intentionally or otherwise. They will do things that leave you with internal scars, which leads to other issues like trust. Or it puts you off the idea.
But Jesus is appealing AF cos He's a constant and perfect. He's there on good days & not so good days. He's like a warm hug. That's all we need.
This I needed...I'm constantly questioning what I'm meant to be doing with my life! And feeling the pressure of the world...wheb I know I just need to relax.so thank you xxx
