Reflection..
Every day, we wake up to a world that feels like a battle field. Voices pull us toward anger, selfishness, fear, and bitterness. It can feel exhausting trying to stay kind when others are cruel, or doing good when it seems unnoticed. But here is the truth that steadies our hearts. God has already won.
Being on God’s team does not mean we never struggle. It means we fight from victory, not for it. Jesus has already defeated sin, darkness, and death. When we choose love over hate, kindness over revenge, and goodness over corruption, we are living out the victory He secured.
Evil tries to take over quietly through impatience, resentment, pride, or despair. But every small act of obedience pushes back the darkness. A gentle word, a forgiving heart, a helping hand. These are not weak choices. They are powerful reminders that God’s light still reigns.
Staying on God’s team means trusting that goodness is never wasted. Even when the world applauds cruelty or rewards selfishness, God sees every faithful step. Kindness is not naive. Doing good is not pointless. Love is never defeated.
Today, choose to stand with God. Not because it is easy, but because it is right. The outcome is already settled. Victory belongs to Him, and when we walk with Him, it belongs to us too.
Prayer..
Lord, thank You for the victory You have already won. Help me stay faithful when doing good feels hard. Guard my heart from bitterness and my mind from darkness. Teach me to respond with kindness, to love boldly, and to trust that You are always at work. Keep me on Your team, walking in Your truth and light. Amen.
